Tobit, or Tobias, Book of, in the Apocrypha, account of how Tobias, son of the devout but blinded Jew Tobit (or Tobias), successfully undertook a dangerous journey, helped by the angel Raphael, to exorcise a demon from, and marry, Sara. He then helped Tobit regain his sight.
