Epistles to the Thessalonians

Thessalonians, Epistles to the, books 13 and 14 of the New Testament Bible. After the founding of the church at Thessaloniki in Greece, the apostle Paul wrote a letter (c.A.D. 50) to its members, explaining the purpose of the resurrection of Christ. A second letter, attributed to Paul but more likely written by one of his followers, indicated the lengthy time that would elapse before Christ's second coming. These letters represent the first Christian writings.
