Teton Range



Teton Range, mountain range located in Wyoming and Idaho in Grand Teton National Park. This rugged range, part of the Rocky Mountains, stretches for 40 mi (64 km) in length and up to 15 mi (24 km) in width. Grand Teton (13,770 ft, 4,197 m) is the highest peak. John Colter, part of the Lewis and Clark expedition, discovered (1808) the Teton Range.
