Sulzberger, name of 2 publishers of The New York Times. Arthur Hays Sulzberger (1891–1968) was the publisher of the Times from 1935 to 1961. He printed more editorials than ever before in the paper's history and greatly increased circulation. Arthur Ochs Sulzberger (1926– ) became publisher of the Times in 1963. He expanded coverage of business news and started printing national editions in several cities outside New York.
