Street

Street, public road in a town or city. A street within an urban area usually has a sidewalk and buildings on one or both sides. Streets are part of a network of thoroughfares that include roads, highways, and expressways connecting communities and cities. Most modern streets are paved with tar or asphalt mixed with sand and crushed stone, although some may be paved with cobblestones, bricks, or concrete.
