Stork

Stork, large, heavily built bird, family Ciconiiodae, with long legs and neck, a long, stout bill, and usually black-and-white plumage. The stork's long legs and slightly webbed feet are adaptations for wading in shallow water, where it feeds on freshwater animals and large insects. Storks tend to be gregarious. They mainly live in the tropics, though some spend part of the year in temperate zones.
