Isaac Stern

Stern, Isaac (1920– ), U.S. violinist. A child prodigy born in the USSR, he came to the United States as a baby, where he studied and made his debut in 1931 in San Francisco. A noted virtuoso, he has recorded extensively and concertized worldwide.
