Squash, game played on a 4-walled court with a small, hard-rubber ball and 27-in (68-cm) rackets. Singles squash is played on an indoor court that measures 18.5 ft × 32 ft (5.6 m × 9.75 m); doubles squash requires a larger court. The ball may be hit against any of the 4 walls as long as it bounces on the front wall before striking the floor. The opponent must then hit the ball before it touches the floor twice.
