Spiraea



Spiraea, any of several shrubs with tall clusters of pink or white flowers. They grow wild in the Northern Hemisphere, and several are grown in gardens. Meadowsweet, staplebush, and queen-of-the-meadow are wild American species. The cultivated forms, of which bridal wreath is the most popular, come mainly from the Far East.
