Albert Speer



Speer, Albert (1905–81), German architect and Nazi leader. For his organization of slave labor for Germany during World War II, the international tribunal at Nuremberg sentenced him to 20 years' imprisonment in Spandau. After his release he wrote revealingly of the inner workings of the Nazi regime in Inside the Third Reich (1972).
