Skeena River



Skeena River, river in British Columbia, Canada, rising in the Stikine mountains and flowing about 360 mi (580 k) to the Pacific Ocean. The river is known for the numerous salmon that are caught in its waters. Canneries are located near the mouth of this river, at Hecate Strait.
