Georges Simenon

Simenon, Georges (Georges Joseph Christian Sim; 1903–89), Belgian-born French author of over 200 novels and thousands of short stories. He is best known for his detective novels about Inspector Maigret, works of tightly plotted suspense and psychological insight.
