Sillimanite
Sillimanite, relatively rare silicate mineral (Al2SiO5) found in France, Madagascar, Brazil, and the eastern United States. It is glassy in appearance, white, green, or brown in color, and often located in areas where metamorphic rock has formed under thermal pressure.
