Shih Tzu

Shih Tzu, breed of toy dog. It stands 8–11 in (20–28 cm) at the shoulder and weighs 9–18 lb (4–8 kg). The dog has a broad head, a short, square muzzle, and drooping ears. The thick coat varies in color. The breed originated in Tibet and is related to the Pekingese and Lhasa apso.
