Arthur von Seyss-Inquart



Seyss-Inquart, Arthur von (1892–1946), Austrian Nazi leader, governor of Austria (1938–39), and deputy governor of Poland (1939–40). As a high commissioner for the Netherlands (1940–45), his cruelty was notorious. He was executed for war crimes.
