Ole Edvart Rölvaag
Rölvaag, Ole Edvart (1876–1931), Norwegian-born novelist, who came to the United States in 1896 and wrote in Norwegian. His trilogy Giants in the Earth (1927–31) is the story of Norwegian settlers in the United States.
