Rolling Stones



Rolling Stones, influential rock band from Britain. Renowned for their hard-driving, blues-inspired, often sexually explicit songs, the band has influenced the course of popular music since the mid-1960s. Original band members include Mick Jagger (1943– ), Keith Richard (1943– ), Bill Wyman(1936– ) and Charlie Watts (1941– ). Guitarist Brian Jones left the band shortly before his death and was replaced by Mick Taylor in 1969 and then by Ron Wood in 1974. In addition to their many recordings, the Stones are known as one of the world's most exciting performance bands.
