Rhinitis



Rhinitis, most frequent of the acute upper respiratory infections, characterized by edema, swelling and widening of the blood vessels of the mucous membrane of the nose, nasal discharge, and obstruction. It can result from infections, allergic reactions, hay fever, and unknown stimuli.
