Quantico Marine Corps Development and Education Command

Quantico Marine Corps Development and Education Command, training center for U.S. Marine Corps officers at Quantico, Va. The Quantico facility houses various schools including the Basic School for Commissioned Officers, The Woman Officer School, the Command and Staff College, and training schools for communications, ordnance, and computer sciences. Quantico also has a U.S. Navy hospital and a Marine air installation.
