Puffer

Puffer, or globe fish, fish that blows up its body like a balloon. It is found in warm and temperate seas, and some grow to 3 ft (0.91 m) long. The bodies of some puffers contain a deadly poison, tetradontoxin. In Japan they are a delicacy, but a cook has to have a license to prepare puffers, for it is necessary to remove the poison parts.
