Roscoe Pound



Pound, Roscoe (1870–1964), U.S. jurist and educator who championed flexibility in the law and efficiency in court administration. Professor of law at Harvard (1910–37), he advocated a “sociological jurisprudence” that would adapt the law to changing social and economic conditions.
