Plexiglas



Plexiglas, trademarked name of a type of plastic. Made from acrylic it is very clear and does not break easily. Because of its transparency and durability, Plexiglas is widely used instead of glass in such things as aircraft windows, picture frames, eyeglasses, appliances, and light fixtures.
