Plagiarism

Plagiarism, the act of copying another's work (ideas, writings, or other creative work) and presenting it as one's own. As it is in essence stealing, plagiarism is unethical. Copyright laws make plagiarism a punishable crime in many countries. However, the borrowing of ideas or thoughts and expressing them in one's own words is not considered plagiarism.
