Petroleum coke



Petroleum coke, byproduct of the process of refining crude oil. Petroleum coke is used in the production of flashlight batteries, drycells, and the synthetic graphite required for nuclear reactors. It is also used in the manufacture of certain abrasives, heat resistant materials, and chemicals.
