Peter II



Peter II (1923–70), king of Yugoslavia. On the death of his father Alexander I, his cousin governed as regent (1934–41). Peter fled to London after the Nazi invasion (1941) and set up an exile government. In 1945 Yugoslavia became a republic, and Peter a pretender.
