Pentathlon

Pentathlon, track and field competition that consists of 5 events. The ancient Greek contest included jumping, racing, wrestling, discus, and javelin. The modern pentathlon, part of the Summer Olympic Games since 1924, consists of horseback riding, shooting, fencing, swimming, and cross-country running.
