Peacock

Peacock, or peafowl, large ground bird of the pheasant family, native to east Asia; there are 2 genera, Pavo and Afropavo. The common peacock male (P. cristatus) has a train of up to 150 colorful tail feathers, which he displays to the peahen during courtship.
