Pawpaw



Pawpaw, or papaw, tree (Asimina triloba) of the custard-apple family, whose fruits have a creamy edible pulp. Most pawpaws are grown in tropical countries, but the North American pawpaw thrives along streams in many parts of the eastern United States.
