Parnassus



Parnassus, or Parnassós, mountain 8,060 ft (2,430 m) high, in central Greece, north of Delphi and the Gulf of Corinth. In ancient times Parnassas was considered sacred to Dionysus and Apollo and celebrated as the home of the Muses.
