Seiji Ozawa



Ozawa, Seiji (1935– ), Japanese conductor, best known for his fiery interpretations of Romantic and modern French composers. He served as director of the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra (1970–6) and of the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the Berkshire Music Festival from 1973.
