Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development
Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, OECD), international governmental body representing 29 countries, created in 1961 to develop trade and support and assist in each other's growth and economic welfare. An administrative body, the Council, having representatives from each country, governs OECD. Its headquarters are in Paris, France.
