Old English sheepdog



Old English sheepdog, working dog that resembles an unshorn sheep. The breed, developed in 19th-century England, has long, abundant, coarse hair and is used to herd sheep and cattle and as a family guard dog. Its colors are gray or blue, with or without white, and as a full adult it weighs 55–65 lbs (24.9–29.5 kg).
