Odin

Odin, in Germanic mythology, the chief god, also known as Woden (whose name gave us Wednesday). God of war, poetry, wisdom, learning, and magic, he had a single all-seeing eye. He made the world from the body of the giant Ymir, man from an ash tree, and woman from an elm.
