Nomad

Nomad, member of a population group that moves from place to place for subsistence. The nomadic way of life, though fast declining, is still found among some herders, such as the Arab Bedouins, and hunters, such as some groups of Australian aborigines. Some peoples, like the Lapps of northern Scandinavia, are semi-nomadic, residing in one place during the warmer months and moving to another during the winter.
