Nimrod



Nimrod, in the Bible (Genesis), grandson of Noah and son of Ham, a hunter and founder of the city Nineveh. Living many years after the great flood, Nimrod constructed great cities and became a legendary hunter. Nineveh was located in present-day Iraq.
