Archerfish



Archerfish, any of several species of Indo-Pacific fishes of the family Toxotidae with the ability to eject water from their mouths to knock insect prey to the surface; especially, Toxotes jaculator. The archerfish has a flat, elongated body and inhabits both fresh and salt water.
