Antipodes

Antipodes (Greek, “foot-to-foot”), 2 places exactly opposite each other on the globe, so that a straight line connecting them would pass through the center of the earth. The region around Australia and New Zealand is the antipode of England, and is thus sometimes called the Antipodes.
