Anthemius of Tralles

Anthemius of Tralles (d. c.534), Byzantine architect, mathematician, and physicist. With Isidorus of Miletus, he designed the Hagia Sophia in Constantinople at the order of the Byzantine emperor Justinian. It is likely that he also designed the Church of Saints Sergius and Bacchus in the same city.
