Roy Chapman Andrews



Andrews, Roy Chapman (1884–1960), U.S. naturalist, explorer, and author. From 1906 he worked for the American Museum of Natural History (later becoming its director, 1935–41) and made important expeditions to Alaska, the Far East, and Central Asia. In Mongolia he discovered the first known fossil dinosaur eggs.
