Agrippina The Younger



Agrippina The Younger (A.D. 15–59), mother by her first marriage, of Nero and second wife of the Roman emperor Claudius. Agrippina persuaded Claudius to adopt Nero as his son and heir and then poisoned the emperor. When she interfered with Nero's rule, he had her murdered.
