Abbey Theatre



Abbey Theatre, originally called Irish National Theatre. It was founded in 1902 by William Butler Yeats, Lady Gregory, and others to promote the work of Irish playwrights. The company moved to the Abbey Theatre in Dublin in 1904. It performs works in both English and Gaelic.
